Paddling Towards a Brighter Future: The Recycled Planet's Founder Joins WWF's Panda Paddle
Here at The Recycled Planet Company, we are passionately committed to protecting the planet. Our founder, Stephen Weisbuch, recently participated in the World Wildlife Fund's Panda Paddle annual fundraiser.Â
Â
World Wildlife Fund's Panda Paddle
Panda Paddle is a unique event that encourages individuals to connect with nature while raising funds to support the World Wildlife Fund's global conservation efforts. Since its inception in 2018, over 3,000 paddlers have joined the cause, raising nearly $1 million for nature.Â
This year, 340 nature lovers joined the event and collectively raised over $63,000 in support of conservation and sustainability.Â
Â
The Recycled Planet Paddles for the Planet
For the third consecutive year, our founder, Stephen Weisbuch, represented The Recycled Planet Company in the Panda Paddle and paddled to raise funds for the sustainability movement. Stephen embarked on his journey by kayaking through some of New Hampshire's most scenic water ways, including the Warner River, Newfound Lake, and Great Bay Estuary.Â
"When you love something, you do everything you can to protect it. Now more than ever, our planet needs human allies for protection from pressing threats."
-Stephen Weisbuch
Thanks to the support of friends and family, Stephen placed second on the fundraising leaderboard, showcasing what action fueled by passion can achieve.
